A timely reminder of enduring 国产午夜福鈥檚 College connections
The mystery of an Old Boy鈥檚 watch 鈥 as featured on Seven Sharp 鈥 has provided a timely reminder of the importance of the new 国产午夜福鈥檚 College Museum.
Discovered in a charity shop, the watch belonged to Lieutenant David Tripp, who died of his wounds in 1944 after fighting in the battle of Cassino in Italy. He was aged just 25. His name can be found on the memorial in the College Chapel, along with that of his brother, Hugh Tripp, who was killed in action in Tunisia in 1943, aged 22.
Seven Sharp shares the story of the watch and its remarkable journey to College to sit among the treasures of the new Museum, due to open in tandem with the marking of the school鈥檚 175th anniversary in 2025.
